The Madison SQL Server Users Group (MADPASS) is an official chapter of the Professional Association for SQL Server. We are here to support the SQL Server users in the Madison, WI area. We plan to meet on the third Wednesday of every month.

The talk will go through a brief history of OLAP, basic features of Azure Analysis Services, model automation and deployment, scaling power, mitigating cost, and loading a large data set into a model for Power BI to consume. It also speaks to some considerations and return on investment and strategy when implementing.
